| CMUO Live International Training Experience 2008 |
Set aside October 9-11, 2008 for the first ever CMUO Live International Training Experience (LITE). This exciting training opportunity will take place on the campus of Valley Forge Christian College just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Dick Gruber and Jason Rhode will be joined by internationally recognized speakers such as David Boyd, Dale VonSeggen, and Jim Wideman for this event. An extensive exhibit area and full slate of top children’s ministry practitioners will be available during CMUO LITE 2008. For those that cannot travel to be with us personally, we will host online registrants in our first ever live interactive web casts and classes.

| The following speakers are currently confirmed to be a part of CMUO LITE 2008: |

David Boyd has been involved in children’s ministries with his wife Mary for over 28 years. Since 1999, they have served together as the directors of the National Children’s Ministries Agency for the Assemblies of God and directors of Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC). Prior to coming to the Assemblies of God national office, they were full-time children’s pastors for 19 years.
The Boyds use puppets, characters, gospel illusions, object lessons, ventriloquism, PowerPoint presentations, and more to present the gospel in creative ways. They have authored 20 books, including materials on leading children into the baptism in the Holy Spirit and various other children’s ministries resources. Their books have been translated into several languages around the world. David and Mary have been to countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe teaching and training others in children’s ministries. |

Dick Gruber is one of the original online instructors and course content developers for CMUO, teaching a wide variety of courses and serving as program co-director. As the Children’s Ministries Specialist at Valley Forge Christian College, Dick has developed a Bachelor’s Degree program in Children’s Ministries and is training young people to be children’s pastors, evangelists, and missionaries. He also travels nation-wide speaking in children’s ministries training events.
Dick is a husband, father, pastor, professor, author, poet, composer, and artist. He has illustrated over twenty discipleship booklets for children as well as produced numerous Scripture picture Bible memory helps for Sunday School teachers. Dale VonSeggen served as a children's pastor for nine years prior to becoming the full time President and CEO of One Way Street, Inc.
He is a past president of Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers, and is a founding board member of the International Children’s Pastors’ Conference.
Dale and his wife Liz have written and published scores of scripts, CDs, books, patterns, videos/DVDs, children’s church curricula, and other various Christian education resources. Dale has traveled to 42 countries outside the USA, and regularly is involved in ministry training events in various countries around the world.
In 2001 Dale and Liz were named by Children’s Ministry Magazine as one of the top 10 ministries who have had the greatest impact on children’s ministry in the past decade. They enjoy travelling nationally and internationally, training, encouraging, and equipping childlren’s workers in creative ministry. Jim Wideman is a consultant, trainer, speaker, coach and mentor, bringing to the table
over thirty years of experience in both children’s ministry and various other positions in the local church. For the past seventeen years, he has led one of America’s largest children’s ministries at Church On The Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Not only does he draw on a vast amount of experience from working with four
different churches of various sizes and personalities, but he also possesses an
awareness of how children’s ministry has changed over the years and what works now. Jim is committed to teaching the most effective leadership qualities to the next generation of relevant children’s ministers.
Jim was awarded the Excellence in Ministry Award from the International Network of Children’s Pastors in 1989. More recently, he was named one of the ten “Pioneers of the Decade in Children’s Ministry” by Children’s Ministry magazine. Jim has authored four books covering topics ranging from relevant children’s ministry to parenting. More information about Jim is available on his website at jimwideman.com. |

Kimberly Green is a sophomore at Valley Forge Christian College, majoring in Elementary Education. She resides in Columbia, MD and attends Bethel Assembly of God (Savage, MD). There, she found her passion for leading worship and teaching children. From the age of 15 she has taught children and led worship in numerous platforms such as her Kids church, district spiritual retreats, district stars (Missionettes) retreats, district kids camps and various Mission trips. Along with school, she is currently the children's worship director of Spring Valley Community Church in Royersford, PA. She is so thankful for the people that have blessed her in these past years and she is anxious for what God has in store for her future. |

| Directions |
Valley Forge Christian College is located just a few miles from Valley Forge National Park. Exit 24 (MP 326) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike leads directly to Route 23 and the city of Phoenixville. The college is approximately twenty-five miles northwest of Philadelphia. Pennsylvania Routes 29 and 113 also pass near the college through Phoenixville.
PA Turnpike from the West - Exit 312 (old 23), Downingtown
Upon exiting the toll plaza, follow signs for Route 100 South. On Route 100 S turn left at the second traffic signal onto Route 113 North. Follow Route 113 North (crossing Route 401) approximately 8 miles towards Phoenixville. Just prior to the traffic signal which designates Coldstream Road is a directional sign indicating a right turn to Valley Forge Christian College. Turn right onto Coldstream Road, which will lead to a stop sign at Charlestown Road. Turn left onto Charlestown Road. VFCC?s entrance is the first left.
PA Turnpike from the East - Exit 326 (old 24), Valley Forge
Upon exiting the toll plaza, immediately enter the right lane and take the first exit (at Exit 24) following signs for Valley Forge. This ramp will lead to North Gulph Road. Continue on this road (past the Sheraton Hotel and Valley forge Convention Center), which becomes Route 23 West at the Valley Forge National Historical Park Visitors Center. Follow Route 23 West approximately 7 miles through the national park and into Phoenixville. Continue to Bridge Street (Vale-Rio Diner on the left). Turn left onto Bridge Street which becomes Charlestown Road at the next traffic signal. VFCC?s entrance is on the right just past the Center for Arts and Technology.
I-95 From Baltimore
Take I-95 North to Wilmington, Delaware. Take 202 North to Route 29 North. Exit right. Turn right at the traffic light and right at the next light. Follow Route 29 North until it crosses a railroad track (at a four-way intersection). At the traffic light, Route 29 makes a sharp right turn. DO NOT TURN. Proceed straight ahead up the hill on Charlestown Road. Continue to VFCC (approximately 3.3 miles). College entrance is on the left. |
